 An intimate portrait of the filmmaker's Central American family. The macho traditions of his grandfather weave memories and family stories to reveal how extreme masculinity can cost a man the love of his family and create a legacy of pain for future generations. Memories of Tata aired on the PBS documentary series, POV, during Season 7 in June 1994 and was selected for the Margaret Mead and Chicago, San Diego and San Antonio Latino Film Festivals.  (TRT 53:00)
