Things to Watch

My filmmaking career spans 30 years as a film director, writer, producer and professor. These are trailers from films I directed that have screened in film festivals, aired on television, or streamed on digital services. They have in common portrayals of intimate human relationships at fragile moments. They are about romantic love, brotherhood, manhood, immigration and travel. My family is from Central America and Central Europe. I have some stories to tell from near and faraway places and about people who were dear to me.
